I don't know what's worse: companies that manufacture and sell white clothing for 18-month-olds or parents who buy it.

You see, you're under the impression that white clothing needs to stay white. If you just let go, and let white clothes become, well, multi-colored, then you'd have no problem at all...
If they became multi-colored, as in colors, rather than stained with various shades of brown, I wouldn't mind. When you say multi-colored, I think rainbows and psychedelic tie-dye. Xander's clothes are clearly neither.
Maybe I just need to learn to like the color brown.
